Ayurveda Consultation

Ayurveda translates as the "Science of Life".  Ayurveda is a mind-body, holistic system of health care that teaches us that when we understand our unique constitution or 'dosha' (mind, body & emotion type) and properly align our dosha with natural rhythms and cycles of life, we can achieve optimal health.  It teaches us that we each are a unique biological, psychological and social force and therefore each person's path toward health is unique. There are no broad strokes of  'good or bad' in Ayurveda. Ayurveda offers tools for assessment and understanding of our uniqueness, and it offers tools for action to personalize your health and healing practices

An Ayurveda Consultation is an ideal way to address not feeling great whether you are experiencing burnout, fatigue, moodiness or you are just not feeling like yourself in anyway. Ayurveda is an ideal holistic path to managing life changes like  menopause, empty nesting, or any other time in your life that has thrown you out of balancve.  The consultation will identify imbalances and give you the tools to feel better.

When working from an Ayurvedic perspective you receive  mind-body tools. You will learn how food, movement, breathing, lifestyle and relationships have an impact on your alchemy (your unique mind-body chemistry). You will understand how what you consume (not just food, but what you hear, see,  and interact with as well) effects your dosha. You will understand how and why stress effects you the way it does and from Ayurveda strategies you will learn tools to develop resiliency and durability. Life, stress, relationships & consumption, can throw you out of balance and Ayurveda has the tools help you establish balance, awaken your healing potential, and achieve optimal health.
